The backlog in the email queue has now cleared. Currently discussing the resuming of the deprecation job for the database on stack 7.

Identified
The issue has been identified as a deprecation job on the Stack 7 database through which emails are directed. This job started at the same time as the incident started. The deprecation job has been stopped. The backlog is now clearing.

Note: The earlier indication that list emails were not affected is incorrect.

Investigating
Pardot SRE are currently investigating reports of the failure to send system emails. All indications are that other emails such as list emails and auto-responder emails are not affected.

This incident began at 02:00 AM June 16.
